Peace, Love & CARDS

My Volleyball Athlete
To be my athlete, you must take many falls, But never give up, keep digging those balls.
And when youve given your all and still meet defeat, You will carry your heads high and stay on your feet,
Because we do what we love, and love what we do, We set our goals high, and always pursue.
We carry each other, in good times and bad, Yet always carry a smile when we're frustrated or mad.
This game is a puzzle, and you are the pieces that fit, When you mold and mesh together, you are showing true grit.
And when you seize the victory, and the opponent has been beat, My ladies look upon it with pride, confidence and glory, Like a true Athlete

LADY CARDINAL!
To an Amazing Coach
by Finn
You cheered, you screamed, You made us laugh, you fostered our dreams, You took the time to believe in us, You earned our respect, friendship and trust.
You knew what to say to inspire and excite, You shared our glory and praised what was right, You taught us confidence and how to be strong, Tactfully critiqued us when things went wrong.
You understood our fervor and frustration, Your leadership procured our relentless admiration, And even when spirits were quenched by defeat, You devotedly pulled us back up on our feet.
In our budding lives, the part you have played, Will outshine all the serves, sets and hits made, For your eternally enthusiastic approach, Thank you so much for all youve done, Coach!
For the Love of This Game
by Rossy
Every time a new season ends, my heart bends, everytime a season begins, my heart commits sins, my life is for this sport, and I feel like my sole has, well sold to it, for its the only thing I want to do I have to play or I'll feel blue and so ends this tale of how a young girls heart was torn apart For the Love Of this Game!

Your Face
by Scott Hammon
To the setter's hands my pass is good A skip & a jump my feet leave the wood Fly through the air to that magical place Where my hand meets the ball and the ball meets your face!
